Our pets are equal members of the family.
This year marks of some 35 years of presence and professional practice as a veterinarian in the city of Kavala.
The modus vivendi that has always defined my journey is that “our companion animals are equal members of our family.” They are friends who offer invaluable companionship, unconditional presence, and have a voice of their own. Just like us, they feel pain, experience stress, and are shaped by their surroundings—and they express it in their own unique way.
Their voice, however, requires daily interpretation, especially from a medical perspective. The commitment I made to myself very early on my career was to listen to that voice, with the goal of treating animals in need and supporting their guardians, so they may enjoy healthy companions by their side—within the limits of what is humanly possible.
My priority has always been preventive medicine, achieving a high level of early diagnosis, and providing a holistic approach to each individual. Being available during difficult moments and emergency situations was also a decision I upheld from the very beginning, as our friends often endure discomfort silently, and problems may only become evident when they have already significantly progressed and require immediate attention.
The voice of animals is strong, yet not easily understood. In order to communicate with them and to better comprehend their nature and their needs, I made certain fundamental choices. I have never ceased pursuing continuing education through major international conferences, aiming to enhance diagnostic effectiveness and incorporate advanced expertise into my practice.
I invested in the gradual enrichment of my veterinary practice with advanced medical equipment and technology that support high-quality veterinary care, and I created a space designed to offer a calm and welcoming environment for often-anxious guardians and their animals alike. Finally, witnessing the encouraging increase in pet ownership in our city, I established a distinguished medical team with the required specializations—professionals who share my principles and are always committed to providing you with the highest level of care.
